Website Care Terms

1. Overview

The Website Care plan provides website hosting with routine technical maintenance, security and support for your website. These terms govern the plan separately from our general Terms of Service.

2. Pricing & Billing

• The plan costs £30/month, billed monthly in advance.
• Website design and creation is £99 one-off for an agreed scope, and is provided together with this plan.
• Price changes require 30 days notice.

3. What is Included

• Hosting: Fast, reliable hosting on IONOS VPS (Ubuntu 24.04, Nginx, PM2).
• SSL: Let's Encrypt SSL certificate with auto-renewal.
• Backups: Daily automated backups retained for 30 days.
• Security: Security patches, monitoring, and proactive threat response.
• Maintenance: Platform updates, dependency patches, and performance tuning.
• Support: Email support with a 24-hour response time, Monday to Friday.

4. What is Not Included

• Redesigns, new pages and additional content changes. Alterations requested after your website is completed are charged at an hourly rate agreed with you before work begins.
• Custom functionality development (quoted separately).
• Third-party service costs (e.g., domain registration, premium plugins, email hosting).
• Content creation or copywriting.

5. Uptime & Support

We target 99.9% uptime. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (e.g., upstream provider outages, DNS issues, domain expiry). Support is available via email, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time, with a 24-hour response target.

6. Ownership & Portability

You own your website, domain, content, and data. If you leave the plan, we will provide all files and assist with migration at no charge. We do not hold your data hostage.
